Saw Cuttings

Saw cutting is a proven cutting process for plates made of pre-quenched and tempered tool and mechanical engineering steel. Depending on the requirements, workpieces with a thickness of up to 250 mm, a width of up to 2,500 mm and lengths of up to 8,000 mm can be sawn cleanly and with the tightest tolerances – without the hardening in the edge zones that often occurs in thermal cutting processes.

Shape Cut Pieces

Waterjet blanks made of pre-hardened steel is the way how to save time and costs in mechanical processing

Waterjet cutting is one of the cold cutting processes and enables the separation of sheets and plates made of a wide variety of materials up to more than 160 mm. With waterjet cutting, no heat effective zones are caused.

Particular advantages of water jet cuttings are:

no deformation and additional residual stresses
blanks with the excellent cutting surface and cutting tolerances

Plasma blanks

Plasma blanks with holes, countersinks and threads manufactured in one step.

Cost-effective and precise cuts up to a material thickness of 40 mm. The attachment of holes, countersinks, threads and chamfers up to 45° is also possible with this process.

Oxy-fuel Parts

Oxyfuel flame cutting is the most economical process for cutting heavy plates

Oxyfuel cutting is ideal for heavy plates in the upper thickness above 50 mm, which conventional cutting processes cannot handle. In addition, despite the high sheet thickness, this process produces vertical cut edges. Especially for the cutting of pre-hardened steel grades, the process represents an economical alternative.
