Case Study: Toolox Plastic Moulds
Initial situation: The thread was a problem in the
production of casting tools for electrical outlets for electrical
installations. It was difficult to remove material residues from machine
openings. The problem was solved by the transition to alternating-angle cores
with straight threads, which push the material residues further.
Result: The mold was used for an annual production of up
to 50,000 pieces up to a total of 200,000 electrical cans. The use of Toolox 44 resulted in
considerable time savings in the production
of molds, since heat treatment and processing of the moulds were not needed.
